Weight capacity:
The Antimatter bike rack 2-bike bundle will hold a maximum of two bicycles and 90lbs/40kg. Each bicycle can weigh up to 45lbs/20kg.

Bicycle compatibility:
Only standard bicycles can be transported using the Antimatter bike rack. A standard bicycle has cranks, seat, and handlebars oriented triangularly.

Vehicle compatibility:
The Antimatter bike rack will fit automobiles with 2-Inch receiver. An adapter can be used to fit vehicles with a 1¼-inch receiver.

What makes Antimatter bike racks so lightweight?

A couple factors make Antimatter bike racks very lightweight.

First is the materials. All components are made of 6000 series aluminum alloy, with the exception of the receiver arm and pre-installed fastening hardware.

Second is the modular design. Tool free installation of each module independently keeps the installation weight at 10 pounds. This is compared to most bike racks of this kind weighing 50 pounds to 85 pounds. So, with the AntiMatter bike rack, you’re installing only 10 pounds at a time.

How many bikes can I carry on Antimatter bike racks?

The 2X Antimatter bike rack securely carries 1 or 2 bicycles. With the additional extension (coming soon), you can carry up to 4 bicycles. Because each bike mount adjusts continuously along the frames channel system, bikes can be spaced as closely as you prefer to have them. The front wheel holder on the Antimatter bike rack also adjusts at many angles so that you can prevent handlebars from interfering with adjacent bikes.

What bikes will the Antimatter bike rack carry?

Because all bicycle cranks have a flat surface where the pedal installs, the antimatter bike rack can carry any bicycle with a crank and front wheel.

How does the bike install to the rack?

Simply drop your bicycle’s crank into the rubber-coated crank tube, with the pedal axle passing through the slot. The flat surface by the pedal on the crank, and the upper backside angled surface of the crank, lodge against the sides of the rubber-coated crank tube to position the bicycle perfectly upright. All of the weight is supported here, at this strongest point on the bicycle. The front wheel fits into the infinitely adjustable wheel holder, with a secure strap through the front wheel to balance the bicycle in place. The rear wheel requires no support with this balanced design. Adjust each bike mount side to side to your liking. You can adjust the wheel holder forward and backward for various wheelbase lengths, side to side for various crank and tire sizes. You can also angle the front wheel holder to position handlebars at any angle.
